This calculator uses the standard amortized-loan payment formula, M = P × [i(1+i)ⁿ] / [(1+i)ⁿ − 1], where P is the amount financed (your loan amount minus any down payment), i is the interest rate converted to a monthly rate, and n is the total number of monthly payments over the loan term.
